Ceiling, panels or both?
There are two main ways we insulate a conservatory roof, and we’ll tell you honestly which suits yours.
- Insulated ceiling: fitted entirely from inside. We insulate under your existing roof and finish it with white uPVC cladding, so the room keeps its shape and the outside looks almost the same.
- Insulated roof panels (Thermo Panels): we take out the polycarbonate or glass panels and replace them with insulated panels. They’re similar in weight to polycarbonate, so your frame doesn’t need strengthening, and you can keep a panel or two clear as skylights.
- Both together: panels outside and an insulated ceiling inside give you a fully insulated roof and the biggest cut in rain noise.

How it works
We know most people want all the information first, before anyone comes out to see them. So that’s how we do it.
- 1. Get in touch. Call or text 07734 176473, message us on WhatsApp, or use our enquiry form. A few photos of the roof from inside and outside help a lot.
- 2. Get your quote and all the information. We’ll go through the options, the price and how the work is done over the phone or on WhatsApp. Nobody calls round unless you want them to.
- 3. Survey. If you’re happy to go ahead, we then come out and survey your conservatory. If you’d rather meet us first, just ask for a home visit at the start and we’ll arrange it.
- 4. Fitting day. We protect your floors and furniture, fit the roof and tidy up before we leave. Most insulated ceilings are fitted in a day, and most panel jobs take one or two days.

Can you fit an insulated ceiling in winter?
Yes. Most of the work happens inside the conservatory, and our Hillhall job was fitted with snow on the ground. We’ll only move a date if the weather makes it unsafe to work on the roof, for example on a panel job.
My conservatory is a big one on a bungalow. Can it still be done in a day?
Most insulated ceilings are fitted in a day. Very large or unusual roofs, or jobs combining panels and a ceiling, can take longer, and we’ll tell you when we quote.
